The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.
During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.
The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice claim but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves on.
What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right, such as the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features that you don't often see on robots in this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it to its base station. The control panel has an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
