The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We think it's a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than a vibrating pad.
The only issue is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture it gently bumps into it before moving on.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also combine or create rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can wish for. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's click here also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it to its base station. The central control panel is the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can alter how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
